Get Notified of Lost Cargo and Materials

Scanning Lost Cargo

Using the scanner can notify you of any lost cargo in the vicinity, as well as materials available for pick up.

Determine if Body of Water is Crossable

Scanning Body of Water

Another feature of the scanner is that it scans if a body of water is crossable. Use the scanner near the water, and colored symbols will appear, indicating if it is safe to cross.

Symbol How Crossable is the Water?
Blue Circle Safe to cross. You can cross with ease.
Yellow Square Deep water is afoot. Crossable river but must have plenty of stamina and hold L2 and R2 to maintain balance while moving.
Red Square Not crossable. Find another path to move to your destination.

Identify Terrain Hazards

Scanning Terrain Hazards

Similar to identifying if the water is crossable, the Odradek scanner marks steep rocks as red meaning that those who are crossing it barefoot will be challenged as their balance will be lodged. Hold L2 and R2 to maintain balance while moving.

Detect Enemies

Scanner Motion Sensor

The scanner can also detect enemies carrying cargo. You can identify enemy positions even if you are hiding or obstructed by a wall.

After completing Order No. 009, your Odradek will be upgraded with a motion sensor feature, allowing it to detect enemy movement even if they aren't carrying cargo or obstructed from view.

How to Mark Enemies

How to Turn on Odradek Light
