How to Get S Rank
Deliver Cargo with Minimal Content Damage
One of the criteria to get an S Rank is to deliver your cargo with minimal content damage.
Losing balance and tumbling down during your delivery will increase the percentage of the cargo damage so make sure you maintain your balance by holding L2/R2 when going through a dangerous terrain or find a delivery route that has less hazards.
Deliver the Required Number of Cargo
Some orders will require you to deliver a certain amount of cargo to a set destination. Deliver the necessary amount to fulfill the requirement for an S Rank rating.
Complete Any Additional Objectives
Aside from the first two requirements, some orders may have additional objectives that you'll need to fulfill in order to achieve an S Rank rating. Make sure to view and accomplish them during the planning phase of your route to ensure your efforts don't go to waste.
What Does Getting S Rank Do?
Nets You More Likes Which Help Increase Connection Levels
An S Rank rating means you get more likes after delivering your cargo to its intended destination. Likes increase your connection level with the facilities you deliver to, which in turn reward you with new unlocks, more bandwidth to create structures, and even more materials to withdraw from the facility's storage.

S Rank ratings are tied to the Seasoned Porter trophy of Death Stranding 2. You'll need to get 30 S Rank ratings across multiple activities in order to platinum the game.
