This is a guide for Order No. 045 - Return from the Strange Realm in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach (DS2). Learn how to beat Neil for the third time, as well as best combat tips and weaknesses for the boss.

How to Beat Neil
| # | Step-by-step Walkthrough |

| 1 | After completing Order No. 044, make sure to stock up on Blood Bags and your best weapons before leaving the F7 North Distribution Center. This order again involves a lengthy gunfight in the Strange Realm. |
| 2 |  Once you're in the Strange Realm, carry all the cargo you dropped and move forward through the trains until you reach the stairs, where you'll encounter Neil and his Soldier BTs. Defeat them to proceed! |
| 3 |  Take the stairs to enter the train station and defeat Neil and his Soldier BTs once more. This fight will take a bit longer, as Neil will teleport to different areas whenever he takes enough damage. Repeat this process until a cutscene plays. |
| * |  During the fight, Neil and the Soldier BTs may be floating upside down on stone platforms. Use a Grenade Launcher to destroy the platforms and take them down quickly. |
| 4 |  After defeating Neil and his Soldier BTs, go up to reach the red train above. Jump across platforms to get inside. Once you're in the train, move forward and shoot Neil. |
| 5 |  Another cutscene will play at the train's end, which will then lead to the trains to fall over. Run and escape by jumping from one train to another until you reach the station's roof. |
| 6 |  Defeat Neil once and for all! He'll be alone this time, making the fight easier. Shoot him and use your Odradek Scanner to find him when he teleports. After taking enough damage, a final cutscene will trigger. |
| 7 | Once you defeat Neil, you'll wake up back in Australia, completing the order. |
