How to Skip Cutscenes

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will feature a lot of lengthy cutscenes that players may want to skip. Read on to learn how to skip cutscenes and find out if it's possible to rewatch cutscenes you've skipped.

Hold X Button to Skip Cutscenes

Press and Hold X to Skip Cutscenes

When in the middle of a cutscene, you can press and hold the X button on the PS5 controller to skip it. However, do note that you won't be able to rewatch these cutscenes. If you don't want to miss parts of the story, we recommend not skipping them.

Alternatively, you can also hit the Options Button to bring up the Pause Menu during a cutscene. This context menu allows you to skip the current cutscene or view the Corpus - a database of lore files that provides context regarding the in-game lore.

Can You Rewatch Skipped Cutscenes?

No Way to Rewatch Skipped Cutscenes

At the time of writing, there is no confirmed way to rewatch skipped cutscenes. Players who don't want to miss out on any of the events of the game are encouraged not to skip cutscenes since the only way to rewatch them is to load an earlier save or start a new game entirely.
