Blood Bags and Cryptobiotes can be used to heal Sam in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach (DS2). Read on to learn how to heal inside and outside of combat, and find out how to get Blood Bags for your journey.

How to Heal

Equip Blood Bags to Automatically Heal

Blood Bag HP Regen

You can easily heal Sam by equipping Blood Bags to his Utility Pouch slot. With these equipped, you will automatically heal after taking damage.

To equip Blood Bags, open your Ring Terminal and go to Cargo Management. From there, select a Blood Bag and choose "Place in Utility Pouch" to make sure it gets automatically used when you take damage.

Eat Cryptobiotes to Restore HP

Cryptobiote

Aside from Blood Bags, you can also eat Cryptobiotes to replenish lost HP. If you're out exploring, use your Odradek to scan for nearby Cryptobiote nests. Alternatively, you can eat one whenever you rest inside a Private Room.

How to Get Blood Bags

Can Be Crafted via Access Terminals or Postboxes

Blood Bag Crafting Costs

Blood Bags can be crafted as soon as you find an access terminal inside a facility or aboard the DHV Magellan. They can also be crafted via Postboxes in the open world. 1 Blood Bag requires 15 Chiral Crystals and 10 Resins to fabricate.
