You start the game with the Assault Rifle (MP) Lv1 already in your inventory. Subsequent upgrades to the Assault Rifle (MP) can be obtained from connection rewards later on.

4★ Connection Reward - C1 South Distribution Center
You can unlock the upgraded Assault Rifle (MP) Lv2 after reaching Level 4 Connection with C1 South Distribution Center in Mexico. If you've already gone to Australia, you can return to Mexico via the Plate Gate or via the fast travel option you get after Order No. 012.
