Aid Requests are minor tasks given to you by facilities and other players in Death Stranding 2 On the Beach (DS2). Learn more about Aid Requests, as well as what types of requests you can make to other players.

Side Activities Given by Facilities and Other Players
Aid Requests are minor tasks given to you by facilities or other players online. These requests can involve retrieving an item from a location, defeating different types of enemies, or building a structure.
You can see the map location of the request in the list so if you are interested on taking one, place a marker on that location.
Aid Requests can be accessed through the Ring Terminal under Orders.
Types of Aid Request Signs
All Online Aid Request Signs
| Request: Delivery | Sign that asks someone to deliver a piece of cargo on your behalf. Place the cargo near the sign, then press square to entrust it to another porter. |

| Supply Request: Weapons | Sign that requests weapons from fellow porters. |
| Supply Request: Tools/Fieldwear | Sign that requests tools or fieldwear from fellow porters. |
| Supply Request: Restoration/Repair Materials | Sign that requests materials from other porters to restore roads, structures, or facilities. |
| Construction Request: Vertical Traversal | Sign that requests other players to build a structure which allows you to scale a vertical obstacle. |
| Construction Request: Horizontal Traversal | Sign that requests other players to build a structure which allows you to cross a river or other obstacle. |
| Construction Request: Battery Charging | Sign that requests other porters to build a structure which can charge vehicles and equipment batteries. |
| Construction Request: Timefall Shelter | Sign that requests other porters to build a structure which provides shelter from Timefall. |
| Construction Request: Cargo Storage | Sign that requests other porters to build a structure in which to store cargo. |
| Construction Request: Tactical Structure | Sign that requests other porters to build a structure which gives you a tactical advantage against enemies. |
| Upgrade Request | Sign that requests other porters to upgrade your structures. |
| Request: Defeat Enemies | Sign that requests other porters to defeat nearby enemies. |
You can ask other players for help by placing Aid Request signs. There are different types of Aid Requests signs ranging from asking other players to build a structure, giving you weapons, tools, or to defeat some enemies.
To place an Aid Request Sign, hold the Down button on the D-Pad and select Aid Request in the Sign wheel. Select whatever request sign you need and it will be sent to other players.
Helping other players with their request will reward you with likes. Note that Aid Requests made by players can only be seen when you are online.
How to Unlock Aid Requests
Finish Order 03
You will unlock the Aid Request option in your Ring Terminal after finishing Order No. 003. This involves Sam delivering one or more remote medical units to Villa Libre in Mexico.
