The Porter Fundamentals Program helps get you up to speed with the basic combat drills you'll frequently use out in the field. It covers training in stealth, cargo handling, melee combat, thrown weapons, and firearms. You’ll be graded on these drills (S, A, B, etc.) and receive Likes based on your performance.

The Porter Master Program features more difficult drills that are challenging to complete and earn high grades in. These tests put your skills to the test in high-pressure scenarios, such as facing multiple enemies with just your fists, delivering cargo through hostile territory, and weapon proficiency.

In the Weapons/Combat Training Program area, you can test any of your unlocked weapons, grenades, and equipment in a customizable practice range.
One side of the area features targets for shooting practice, while the other allows you to spawn enemy NPCs. You can select different types and numbers of enemies such as bandits for live combat testing.

Drills in the VR Training Room help increase Sam's stats, offering a safe and effective way to improve your abilities without the risk of damaging cargo, losing it, or dying.
This is especially useful for melee combat training by using the Sparring drill in the Porter Mastery Program, where you face off against 10 enemies using only your fists.
