Death Stranding 2 - How to Get to The Inventor

You can reach the Inventor via Monorail or by driving to it in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. Learn how to get to The Inventor using two different methods in this guide!

Icon How to Use
Show Name Button Show Names
This button reveals the Name of every icon currently shown.
Show Pins Button Show Pins
This button will toggle between showing and hiding all the pins that you have already marked as acquired.
Fullscreen Button Fullscreen
This button will change the map display to fill the browser window.
Search Button Search Mode Toggle
This button will display a search bar which you can use to search for an individual pin by its name.
Icon Mode Button Icon Mode Toggle
In Search Mode, this button will toggle you back to Icon Mode, removing the search bar and displaying the icons again.
Interactive Map Counter Counter
Tracks the number of pins you have marked as acquired. Click this area to see Counters for all pin types.

How to Reach the Inventor's Island

Navigate Through Yellow Zones in the Tar

You can walk or drive through the tar, but we recommend using a vehicle for an easier time. You can safely cross to The Inventor so long as you stay on the safe yellow zone that is revealed when you use your Odradek Scanner.

How to Use the Scanner

Use Monorail from F2 South Distribution Center

Use the Monorail from the F2 South Distribution Center and ride it towards the Mine North of F1. The monorail will pass by The Inventor, so before it reaches the destination, jump off to reach the Inventor.
