Saving in Death Stranding 2 On the Beach (DS2) can be done by accessing the Ring Menu through the Options button. Learn how to save your game progress manually and do a quick save.

How to Save Game in Death Stranding 2 (DS2)

Press the Options Button

You can save your game by bringing up the Ring Menu with the Options button on the Dual Sense controller. There are two methods to save your progress: manual saving and quick saving.

Steps for Manual Saving
1. Press Options buttton
2. Press Left on d-pad
3. Scroll down and select System
4. Choose Save and Confirm

To manually save, press the Options button to open up the Ring Menu, then hit the left directional button on the d-pad. Scroll down and select System. Choose Save and Confirm to create a New Save Data or overwrite a previous save.

Steps for Quick Saving
1. Press Options buttton
2. Press Left on d-pad
3. Press Triangle button

To do a quick save, press the Options button to open up the Ring Menu, then hit the left directional button on the d-pad. Tap the triangle button, and this will create a Quick Save.

The Quick Save text, located at the bottom right corner of the screen, will change from Now Saving to Save Complete to indicate a successful save.
