| 1 |  At the start of the order, fast travel using the DHV Magellan is disabled, and you'll be surrounded by cliffs and mountain peaks, making it extremely difficult to reach the stranded cargo. We recommend building a Transponder with a PCC, or if you're lucky, using one nearby from another porter. Then, use the Transponder to fast travel to East Fort Knot (F4). ▶︎ How to Fast Travel and When to Unlock |
| 2 |  From there, fabricate a Tri-Cruiser using the facility's garage and head west into the icy mountain trail (the same route you took during Order No. 032) until you reach the stranded cargo. |
| 3 |  Find and carry the three stranded cargo. They should be close to one another at the mountainside. The cargo will be labelled Breakable Cargo, meaning that it is more easily damaged than regular cargo, so be extra careful when transporting them. |
| 4 |  After recovering the cargo, head southeast toward the Eastern Environmental Observatory. Stay to the side of the slopes to avoid BTs and reduce the risk of damaging the cargo. |
| 5 |  When you're at the Eastern Environmental Observatory, carefully descend the slopes southwest to reach The Phantom Smith. |
| 6 |  Once you arrive, interact with the Terminal there to complete the order. |

Chiral Shock Cannon
Completing Order No. 040 - Recover All Stranded Cargo will unlock the Chiral Shock Cannon, a weapon that fires chiral particles at a special wavelength.
