The Third Prince is a prisoner found in the Pagoda Realm lower level with a quest to free the souls of his former captains in Black Myth Wukong. Read on to learn about where to find the Third Prince and his four captains, how to complete the quest, and the rewards!

The Third Prince can be found in a prison cell right next to where you start in the Pagoda Realm. When you first meet him, there will be a purple seal on his cell and you are only able to talk to him from outside.

To unlock the door to the Third Prince's cell, you'll first have to defeat Captain Lotus-Vision and obtain the Spirit of Captain Lotus-Vision.
You can find Captain Lotus-Vision by starting at the Upper Pagoda Keeper's Shrine and then dropping down the hole in the ground down to the temple roofs until you reach the boss arena.
How to Beat Captain Lotus-Vision
Head back to the Third Prince by teleporting back to the Lower Pagoda and following the cliff edge to the fourth prison cell from the shrine. You can now enter the prison cell and talk to the prisoner, the Third Prince, directly.
He will notice that you have defeated Captain Lotus-Vision and will ask you to defeat his other three captains and free their souls.
If you've been doing the Two-Headed Rat Guai Quest from Chapter 2, the corpse of the Rat Guai will also be here. Make sure to pick up the sword so that you can unlock the Ashen Slumber Transformation Spell.
Two-Headed Rat Guai Quest Guide
Captain Wise-Voice is located inside the cave across the Mani Wheel Keeper's Shrine. Cross the steep rock bridge and enter the cave to find him. They're a required story boss so you can't miss this fight.
How to Beat Captain Wise-Voice
Before you defeat Captain Wise-Voice, you may want to defeat the Lantern Wardens you encounter on the way to the captain. These mobs drop the Auspicious Lantern and will stop spawning after defeating the captain.
Captain Void-Illusion can be found in the Valley of Ecstasy by taking the left path to a small clearing from the Longevity Road Shrine. Here, you can find his corpse and obtain his spirit. Unlike the other captains, you won't have the chance to fight him since he is already dead.
How to Get The Spirit of Captain Void-Illusion and Location
Captain Kalpa-Wave can also be found in the Valley of Ecstasy past the Longevity Road Shrine. Continue on the path uphill until you see the captain in front of the New Thunderclap Temple. They're also a required story boss and can't be missed.
How to Beat Captain Kalpa-Wave
After defeating all the Captains and obtaining their spirits, return to the prison cell of the Third Prince in the Lower Pagoda to complete the quest. He will give you the Chubai Spearhead as a reward.
The Chubai Spearhead along with other materials is used to craft the weapon, Chu-Bai Spear.
