Found in the Foothills

The Poison Chief is located in the Foothills area of Chapter 6. Start from the Verdant Path Keeper's Shrine and use the Somersault Cloud to reach the central valley, passing the Supreme Inspector boss arena. Turn left and look for a pond with an island in the middle on top of a grassy plateau.

There should be a large, resting stone near this pond area. The large stone is actually the Poison Chief—approach it to start the fight.

Poison Chief Strategy

Bring Antimiasma Powders or Poison Resistance

Evidently, the Poison Chief inflicts the Poison status effect with most of it attacks. Be prepared by bringing Antimiasma Powders or equipping items that boost Poison Resistance.

Use the Plantain Fan for a 12-Second Stun

The Plantain Fan Vessel unleashes a storm that follows the enemy for a time, staggering and pushing them back for the duration. This Vessel is especially effective against the Poison Chief, who will be stunned and pushed back for about 12 seconds. You can take this opportunity to deal as much damage as possible!

You can obtain the Plantain Fan by completing Chapter 5.

I’ve found 3 poison chiefs scattered around, it’s the same fight w the same reward. More of an elite to farm… chapter 6 is just terrible. It could have been linear like 5 with the cloud letting you move faster, or a smaller map. Or an actual mini map for the player. I don’t have the strength to look if a 4th one exists, it’s too boring, I prob have like 1 or 2 bosses to find in this maze of nothing.
