Collect All Buddha Eyes to Unlock Shigandang

The only use for the Buddha Eyes is to unlock the Shigandang optional boss fight.

You can unlock the fight by heading to the Stone Vanguard's arena and interacting with the boulder when you have all six eyes.

Have Stone Vanguard and Shigandang Fight

You can kill one of the two bosses with one stone, literally. To do this, do not fight Stone Vanguard until you collected all the Buddha Eyes.

Then, head to the area where Shigandang and Stone Vanguard is, they will both appear at the same time. Keep your distance from them and watch as one battles the other. The loser will fall, sparing you a boss fight.

Shigandang Strategy

Slow and Predictable

Shigandang is a slow, heavy rock boss with predictable attacks due to its sluggish movements. This gives you a significant advantage, as you can easily anticipate its moves and dodge accordingly.

Mastering Shigandang's attack patterns will make dodging and counterattacking more straightforward.

Dodge the Jumping Attack

Shigandang's most dangerous move is its jumping attack, which deals large AoE damage. The boss will jump and somersault toward your position.

Dodging as it lands will help you avoid taking damage.

Shigandang was once a mountain deity, accompanied by other rock guais. However, one day, several Buddha heads emerged from the ground and consumed everything in their path.

In an attempt to stop them, Shigandang faced severe consequences for his actions.

Giant Shigandang

In Mount Huaguo, after the birth of the Sage Stone Monkey, the remaining celestial stone continued to absorb the essence of the sun and moon for a thousand years.

Through self-cultivation, it eventually transformed into a yaoguai as large as a mountain, becoming the Giant Shigandang.
