Man-In-Stone Quest Guide

The Man-In-Stone is a side quest located in Fright Cliff, Squall Hideout in Chapter 2 of Black Myth: Wukong. Read on to learn where to find the Mother of Stones boss, how to obtain the Stone Essence, and where to find the Man-In-Stone!

How to Complete Man-In-Stone Quest

Find the Mother of Stones

Starting from the Shrine found in Fright Cliff, Squall Hideout, travel to the left path. Take the right side that goes deeper into the cave where you'll see fire pits.

Just follow the path outlined by fire pits, and at the end of that path, you'll see three (3) glowing crystals, which is actually the Mother of Stones boss. To trigger the boss fight, just attack the crystals.

Defeat the Mother of Stones Boss to Obtain the Stone Essence

Defeating the Mother of Stones boss is quite easy since it doesn't attack nor defend itself. However, enemies will spawn occasionally to attack you, so just defeat them first before focusing on the Mother of Stones.

Once you defeat the Mother of Stones, you'll receive the Stone Essence key item. You'll need this item once you encounter the Man-in-Stone.

How to Beat Mother of Stones

Find and Defeat the Man-in-Stone

Starting again from the Shrine found in Fright Cliff, Squall Hideout, take the right path this time and just head straight to the ravine, where you'll encounter the Man-in-Stone at the end of the path.

Talk to the Man-in-Stone, then deliver the Stone Essence, allowing him to escape his entrapment. Afterwards, talk to him again, attack him to start the fight, then defeat him.

After defeating him, interact with his body again to acquire the Azure Dust spell.
