The Beguiled state is triggered by a random headache and field of view having a gray filter

During Chapter 3, you'll be transported to the prison area of Pagoda Realm after defeating Kang-jin Loong.

In this area, you will become beguiled from time to time where your eyes will glow red which means that Lantern Wardens have appeared. They will only appear when you are in this state.

You will need to kill nine Lantern Wardens before you fight Captain Wise-Voice. Otherwise, they will be gone permanently and you can not get the Auspicious Lantern. We will be listing all the locations of the nine Lantern Wardens below.

All Missables and Points of No Return

Lantern Warden Locations

1-2
The first and second Lantern Wardens can be found immediately after exiting the cell you got transported at after defeating Kang-jin Loong.

Just exit your cell and go to the left path to encounter the two Lantern Wardens when your eyes start to glow red.

After defeating them, go forward to activate the Lower Pagoda Shrine.
3-4 The Third and Fourth Lantern Wardens can be found on the same floor as the first two wardens, at the area behind the Lower Pagoda Shrine.
5 Go towards the third floor of the Pagoda Realm Prison and get to the Upper Pagoda Shrine. The fifth Lantern Warden is close to this shrine.
6-8 On the same floor as the Upper Pagoda Shrine, go across the narrow beam while your eyes are red to encounter two more Lantern Wardens.

Go inside the prison cell at the end to see another Lantern Warden.
9 Proceed upwards until you come across the Mani Wheel Shrine. From here, go to the front direction of the shrine and keep going past the frozen enemies.

Once you are at the edge, drop down and wait for the beguiled state to encounter the final warden.
