Flint Vanguard Can Be Found in the Field of Fire

From the Ashen Pass III shrine, you will need to go up the path of the metal boulder. Stick to the sides and time your ascent carefully. A cutscene will play once you reach the top.

After the cutscene ends, turn around and go back to where the wall of flames used to be. Go down the new path until you reach a clearing with a pile of rocks in the middle. The fight will start as soon as you approach.

Defeat the Lesser Yaoguai First Attack The Flint Vanguard After It Plunges Its Arms Into The Ground Beware The Flint Vanguard's AoE Blast

Defeat the Lesser Yaoguai First

When the battle starts, the Flint Vanguard will summon lesser yaoguais into the fight. The Flint Vanguard moves slow so defeat the lesser yaoguai first to make the battle easier.

Either lure the lesser yaoguai away or use Immobilize on the Flint Vanguard so that you can freely attack the other yaoguai.

Attack The Flint Vanguard After It Plunges Its Arms Into The Ground

When the Flint Vanguard plunges both its arms into the ground, it will briefly struggle to get back on its feet. This is the best time to Immobilize and unleash your most powerful attacks on the Flint Vanguard.

Beware The Flint Vanguard's AoE Blast

After the Flint Vanguard jumps down, do not immediately attack it. The Flint Vanguard will unleash an AoE Blast and lunge forward so be ready to dodge out of the area.

Cold Iron Leaves General Armor Material	Slabs of leaf-shaped iron, wrested from the armor of a Yaoguai King, gleam with a cold radiance and resonate with harsh sounds. They can be used in crafting armor.
Knot of Voidness Rare Material	From voidness, it grabs completeness. This is the legendary tool you need for Spirit Cultivation.
Samadhi Fire Crystal Special Crafting Material	An opaque and bright crystal, left from molten stone and imbued with the power of the Samadhi Fire. This can be used in crafting weapons.
Silk General Armor Material	The thread produced by an old silkworm. This can be used to craft armor.
