Black Myth: Wukong Interactive Map
The Wandering Wight is located in the Forest of Wolves, near the Outside the Forest Keeper's Shrine. From the shrine, follow the path past the enemy wolves. After crossing the bridge, you’ll find the Wandering Wight on your right.
If you've gone past the Wandering Wight and rung all three bells to teleport to the Secret Area in Chapter 1, he will disappear and you won't be able to get his Spirit. If this happens, you will need to either start a new save or wait until you get to New Game+ to get the Spirit.

Defeating Guangxhi, an easier boss nearby, unlocks a transformation that can be useful in fighting the Wandering Wight, thanks to its solid moveset, high damage output, and ability to tank a few hits.
The Immobilize spell is an important tool to upgrade as it gives you an opportunity to fight back and another chance to stagger the boss. Be careful of using the Immobilize spell during enemy attacks, as if it doesn't stagger after the spell, it will hit you afterwards.
Perfectly dodging attacks charges gives you a small moment to instantly charge a heavy attack. Take the fight slowly and bait out attacks to perfectly dodge them and gain this quick damaging attack.
Wandering Wight is an optional boss, so you can skip him and return later when you're stronger. Facing him underleveled is especially tough.
If you defeat the Wandering Wight early in the game, you might find its spirit lingering, allowing you to interact with it. However, nothing will happen, and the message "Cannot Absorb Spirits Without Guidance" will appear. To absorb this spirit, you must first acquire the Blessed Gourd later in the game.
The Blessed Gourd is required for absorbing the spirits of certain Yaoguai, including the Wandering Wight's, to unlock skills. You can upgrade your Gourd by obtaining the Blessed Gourd from an Old Man in the Bamboo Grove after defeating the Lingxuzi boss.
To find the Old Man who upgrades the Gourd, head to the Bamboo Grove area near the Snake Trail Keeper's Shrine. This area is accessed after defeating the grey wolf guai, Lingxuzi. Climb the stairs from the shrine, and a cutscene will trigger when you approach the Old Man on the right.
