Flint Chief Can Be Found in Furnace Valley

Starting from the Valley Entrance Shrine, go straight until you pass between a stone gate. After passing the pillars, turn left and drop down into the lava lake. Keep in mind that standing on the lava will decrease your health over time so prepare a lot of healing items in advance.

Standing on the lava will rapidly decrease your health so attack the Flint Chief from the rocky sides of the lake to avoid extra damage. There are some lesser Yaoguais who are idling on the sides so make sure to defeat them in advance before engaging with the Flint Chief to have a smoother boss fight.

Use Immobilize to Keep Flint Guard Near the Safe Areas

Use Umbral Abyss to quickly defeat the Flint Chief. Transforming into the Macaque Chief will allow you to hit faster strikes and deal heavier damage. Use the Cold Heart Spell to empower your attacks and turn into clouds and mist when you dodge. If you get too far, use Cold Resolution to close in instantly.
