Black Myth: Wukong is now live and available for the PlayStation 5 and Steam and the Epic Games Store in PC!

The game is also planned to be released on Xbox Series X|S, although at a later date.

Black Myth: Wukong was released worldwide on August 20 at 10 AM, Beijing Time (UTC +8).

The game was live for all players across the globe at the same time, which meant that regions west of China was able to play the game early and did not have to wait for 10 AM at their local time.

Black Myth: Wukong was released globally on August 20, 2024, for both PC and PS5. The release date was announced on December 8, 2023, after a few years of development.

The game was live in the US on August 19 at night due to the global simultaneous release of the game.

No Early Access

Black Myth: Wukong does not offer early access versions, even if you purchase the Deluxe Edition of the game.

Every player, regardless of region or edition purchased, will be able to start playing the game at the same time.

Xbox Release Planned

Game Science, the team behind the game, has also shared that they are planning to release Black Myth: Wukong for the Xbox Series X|S at a later date.

The team is still optimizing the game for the Xbox consoles, hence the delay.
