Attack From the Front

Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang attacks with both its head and hind legs. While its front attacks are easy to dodge, its rear attacks are unpredictable.

It's safer to attack Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang from the front, where you can better anticipate its moves.

Use Red Mist

The Red Mist transformation spell turns you into a fire-wielding wolf, dealing massive damage and inflicting Scorch Bane with each attack, which gradually drains Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang's health as Burn Damage.

Utilize Pillar Stance

Most of Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang's attacks, except for its diving attacks, are ground-based. You can easily avoid them by using the Pillar Stance.

Time it just before an attack, and counter with a heavy strike for maximum damage.
