Cloud Step | A Pluck of Many |
Immobilize is a Mysticism spell that freezes enemies in place, allowing you to deal significant damage and further stagger them after the effect. This spell is unlocked during the Bullguard boss and is highly recommended for early game builds. Investing your Sparks into upgrading Immobilize will give you more opportunities to land hits on your foes.
We recommend enhancing Immobilize with the Crash and Evanescence abilities to increase the damage dealt to immobilized enemies. The Spirit Shards ability is also one of the few Mana regeneration sources which can help sustain using spells as long as deal enough damage to immobilized enemies.
Bullguard Boss and How to Beat
Red Tides transforms you into a wolf guai wielding flaming twin blades that inflict Scorch, a damage over time status effect, on enemies. This transformation is unlocked by defeating the optional boss Guangzhi in the Forest of Wolves.
To extend your transformation duration, invest in the Evergreen ability, which allows you to deal more damage and withstand more hits while transformed.
Cloud Step creates a mist clone to distract enemies, giving you the chance to prepare an Unveiling Strike on unsuspecting foes. This spell is ideal for creating space during combat, healing, analyzing enemy patterns, or setting up powerful attacks. Cloud Step is unlocked by defeating the Black Wind King in Chapter One.
We recommend prioritizing Cloud Step over Rock Solid for its versatility and ease of use in fights. Enhance it with the Gallop, Concealed Observations, and Converging Clouds abilities to maximize the critical hit potential of your Unveiling Strike.
A Pluck of Many summons an army of fragile but powerful Duplicates to assist you in battle. This spell is especially effective when combined with Immobilize to deal massive damage to bosses. You can obtain this spell in Chapter Two.
We suggest investing most of your Sparks into upgrading A Pluck of Many and acquiring its abilities. Get the Insult to Injury ability and pair it with the Immobilize spell to inflict significant damage, especially when combined with your own multiple Light Attacks.
