You can sprint or run in Black Myth: Wukong by pressing the left stick or R1 on PS5 or by holding Shift on PC. Read on for more information on how to sprint and how to upgrade your sprint in the game.

Black Myth Wukong - Sprinting
There are two ways to sprint when using a PS5 controller. One way is by pressing the left analog stick as you move, and the other is by holding down the R1 shoulder button.

For Steam players that are using a keyboard and mouse setup, you can sprint by holding down the Shift key on your keyboard as you move.

Sprinting Consumes Stamina

Black Myth Wukong - Stamina

Take note that sprinting will deplete your Stamina as you use it. Your Stamina meter is the yellow bar that can be found at the bottom left corner of the screen.

Stamina is used for dodging and attacking, so be mindful of this if you decide to sprint towards an enemy. Running out of stamina can make you more sluggish and vulnerable.

Black Myth Wukong - Upgrade Stamina in Foundation Skill Tree

You can upgrade your sprint by reducing Stamina costs through the Foundation Skill Tree under the Self-Advance tab in the menu. The skill you can unlock for this upgrade is Endurance, though other abilities can also reduce general Stamina costs.
