Best Moveset

Move Type Effect
Hydro Pump WaterWater It fires off water with incredible force to damage even faraway Pokemon.
Icicle Spear IceIce It damages an enemy 2 to 5 times in a row.
Shell Smash NormalNormal It lowers your Defense and Sp. Def while sharply raising your Attack, Sp. Atk, and Travel Speed. The stats return to normal when you go to the next floor or step on a Wonder Tile.
Spike Cannon NormalNormal It fires off sharp spikes, damaging a Pokemon, even one far away, 2 to 5 times in a row.

Notes

  • This is applicable for Skill Link Cloysters. Take advantage of that skill using Icicle Spear and Spike Cannon.
  • Shell Smash is very powerful. Using Icicle Spear after Shell Smash on the post-game bosses makes sure you take them down in less than five (5) turns.
  • Hydro Pump is a piercing move, it can hit multiple Pokemon lined up together. That is good versus corridors and Monster Houses.
