When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

+Spd/-HP

Performing Azura's best IVs are +Spd and -HP. Since Azura will primarily be used as a support unit based around her skill Sing, and this unit can be extremely useful regardless of her IVs, but it is important to keep her alive. Therefore, having a higher Spd stat means that she will be less likely to take follow-up attacks, thereby decreasing the amount of damage she will need to endure.

With her low Def stat and super bane in Res, these are two flaws that would be best avoided. Considering she should primarily only be attacking foes that she has weapon advantage over, a lowered Atk stat is a decent flaw, but -HP is the most ideal.

How to Use, Explanation

This skillset revolves around Emerald Axe and Distant Counter. This build will allow Azura to withstand and counter an attack from a powerful blue mage like Reinhardt, Delta, and Linde. Inheriting G Tomebreaker will allow her to do the same to green mages as well.

How to Use, Explanation

This skillset is based on Drive Atk 2. Using sing will buff an ally, and this combined with the effects of Drive Atk 2 will buff an ally’s Atk stat by +6 when Azura is within two spaces. Spur Atk 3 can be used when Drive Atk is not available. You can also get the Sacred Seal version of Drive Atk 2.

How to Use, Explanation

This skillset revolves around Fury. Performing Azura’s Atk stat is already rather high, so by getting rid of Triangle Adept, it will be easier to deal damage to red units as well, allowing her to function as both a refresher unit and an axe attacker as you see fit. Using the B skill Desperation should cover her low Def stat, but if your Azura is -Spd, then Vantage would be better in this slot. The Seal and C slot should be pretty flexible when running her this way.

Performing Azura is a close ranged physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat. In addition, she has an assist skill that can gratn additional movement to allies who have completed their turn.

Performing Azura's Strengths

Very useful skill

Azura has the skill Sing, which grants an additinal action to an ally who has already finished their turn. Sing can be used to attack multiple times, or to attack and then flee the danger area, making it an extremely useful skill in nearly any party.

Her exclusive weapon skill Urðr grants buffs to allies who have received additional movement

Azura's largest strength lies in her exclusive weapon skill Urðr. This skill will grant Atk/Spd/Def/Res+3 to the target ally when Sing is used. This of course works wonderfully with Blade Tomes, but also is great for defensive battles.

Very powerful against blue units!

Thanks to her default A skill Triangle Adept 3, she is very powerful against blue units. On top of her support capability, she can join in the fight herself if the foe is blue, further increasing her usability.

High Atk for a singing unit

Thanks to her exclusive weapon skill, she is a refresher unit with a base Atk stat of 48. Since she struggles to deal damage to red units, unequipping Triangle Adept and instead giving her Fury is another option.

Performing Azura's Weaknesses

Very weak to red units

A combination of low defensive stats and her skill Triangle Adept 3 makes her extremely weak to red units. Be sure to keep her out of reach from these units that could make quick work of her.

Low defense stat

Her low defense stat means that she does not fair well against physical attacks. Even lance units with a weapon disadvantage like Effie can deal pretty significant damage to her with her extremely high Atk stat.

Hone skills do not stack on top of Urðr's buffs

The buff from Urðr is very powerful, but the effects will not stack together with Hone Atk, Blaze Dance, Gale Dance, etc. The larger of the buffs will take precedence.

For example, if Azura inherits Blaze Dance 3, casting Sing on an ally will give them Spd/Def/Res+3 and Atk+4 (as opposed to +7 if they stacked), so think carefully about which skills eill be most useful.
