When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

Neutral IVs by default!

As a hero obtainable only through Tempest Trials, Azura (Young) will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.

+Spd/-HP

The best IVs for Young Azura are +Spd and -HP. A higher Spd stat allows Young Azura to get a ton of follow-up attacks on her foes. This also protects her from hostile follow-up attacks. Her HP is of less importance and thus safe to be taken as a bane.

+Spd for a +10 Merge

We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Young Azura to 10. This is for the same reasons as above. At this point, she will be able to reach a Spd of 39 if Book of Shadows is equipped. This is not much, but if you are able to trigger Book of Shadows and Spd/Res Bond 3, which have the same trigger conditions, Young Azura reaches 48 Spd.

If you plan to use Ploy skills such as Res Ploy 3, you can make use of her Res superboon and take a +Res IV.

How to Use, Explanation

Wings of Mercy will allow her to warp to injured allies and give them additional movement, making these skills very synergetic. Atk/Res Bond 3 as a seal will allow her to tank magic damage.

Y!Azura is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat. In addition, she has an assist skill that can gratn additional movement to allies who have completed their turn.

Young Azura's Strengths

Casts a penalty to all of a foe's stats when adjacent to an ally

Azura's exclusive weapon skill Book of Shadows will allow her to combat an opponent with a -4 penalty on all of their stats if she is adjacent to an ally. This effect is only present during battle, so stacking this with the debuffs from a Threaten or Ploy skill is a very effective and powerful method.

Gains a Spd and Res bonus when adjacent to an ally

Azura can also gain a +5 Spd and Res buff when she is adjacent to an ally, thanks to Spd/Res Bond 3. Since Book of Shadows has the same conditions required to trigger it, being adjacent to an ally will actually allow her to fight with Spd/Res+9 and Atk/Def+4.

Can increase her allies' Res stat with Sing

Her B skill Torrent Dance 3 will give a +4 Res buff to the target of Sing or Dance. This is a useful support skill for a refresher unit like Azura to have.
