When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

+Def/-HP

The best IVs for Soiree Berkut are +Def and -HP. His Def stat is already pretty high so you should maximize it in order to help him specialize on a niche. Take note that his Def is a superboon so it makes for a wise choice. With the increased physical defense, you can afford to take a -HP IV.

Do not worry as B Duel Infantry increases his HP by +5.

+Def for a +10 Merge

We recommend a +Def IV when merging Soiree Berkut to 10. This is for the same reasons as above. With +10 merges, Soiree Berkut's Def stat will reach 45. Soiree Berkut is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Soiree Berkut Strengths

Refresh and simultaneously buff your allies!

Verðandi grants +4 Atk/Spd/Def/Res to target ally if Soiree Berkut refreshes them. This means that your alliy will be powered-up significantly if you choose them to go for a second action. It is a very convenient and very powerful buff.

The synergy is very obvious, but this skill is great for Blade tome users like Tharja. Blade tome users like her will get a total of 16 HP worth of damage, not including the +4 Atk worth of stats from Verðandi alone.

B Duel Infantry is a special skill that treats the unit’s stats as 170 in the Arena, allowing your overall score to increase when using him. It is usable by any blue infantry unit, so equip it and increase your score as you would like. It also grants +5 HP which cannot be overlooked by opposing teams.

Soiree Berkut's Res only sits at 24 at Lv.40. Though not as bad as other units' Res, his base Spd is only 23. A follow-up attack from a magic opponent will surely take him out. Be mindful of his positioning in relation to magic units that can score follow-up attacks on him!
