Head North Once you enter Eternal Forest, immediately take the path to the north. |

Turn Left You will find hoof tracks in the puddle, you must follow these until you reach Lynel's final location. These first set of tracks are going to the left, so follow this direction and continue walking to your left. |
3 |
Continue Moving Forward You will find the next set of tracks momentarily if you have been walking the correct path. These tracks show that Lynel is still on a straight path, so continue moving forward until you encounter the third set of tracks. |
4 |
Head South You will find that Lynel took a detour and headed down south, follow its tracks and head south, |
5 |
Head Southeast As you go south, there will be an enemy here that might shake you off your focus, you can choose to ignore this enemy and continue following the trail. Eventually you'll come across the next set going Southeast, follow the tracks. |
6 |
Go Northeast As you follow along the path, you will eventually reach a fork in the road, one with tracks heading northeast and the other heading elsewhere. Follow the hoof tracks promptly and move northeast. |
7 |
Continue Right You will find the sixth set of hoof tracks heading to the right if you have taken the correct path. Follow this and walk along the path to the right. You are almost there! |
8 |
Go Up North After walking for a while, you will notice that the hoof tracks ended up going north. Follow this trail and head north. |
9 |
Head Northeast This is the last set of hoof tracks you need to follow as this leads right to Lynel's location. The tracks show that Lynel headed northeast, follow this trail. |
10 |
Prepare for Battle After successfully following the hoof tracks, this will lead you to Lynel's location. Be prepared for battle as Lynel is the strongest non-boss enemy in the game. |
Even though the Lynel is the strongest Echo in the game, its only requirement is that you strictly follow its trail through the forest to make it spawn.
The Eternal Forest becomes accessible during the Prime Energy and Null Main Quest.
The Prime Energy and Null Walkthrough
Since the Lynel is the strongest non-boss enemy, it won't go down without a fight.
Summon echoes such as the Ice Wizzrobe, Fire Wizzrobe, or the Electric Wizzrobe to fight the Lynel as they are also powerful set of echoes.
While your Echoes battle the Lynel, switch to Swordfighter Form and fight alongside them for maximum damage.
The Lynel is a tough opponent, so it’s important to be well-prepared. Smoothies can boost your defense and restore hearts.
Bring smoothies such as the Sweet Tough Smoothie or the Golden Tough Smoothie to gain damage reduction and gain hearts at the same time.
