Where to Find Light Rain Element

Dropped by Aqua Nebulas' on Bionis' Leg

Xenoblade Chronicles Monster Loot.jpg
Aqua Nebula is found near the Gaur Plain in the Bionis' Leg drop Light Rain Elements. However, a common problem is that Nebulae self-destruct before getting killed, and in the process, they lose all their possible drops. There are a number of ways to go around this of course.

Kill Them Before They Self-Destruct

This is the hardest of the methods to do, but it is possible to kill one before it self-destructs if you're fast and strong enough to get them as they prepare to self-destruct.

Inflict Sleep then Defeat Them

If you inflict sleep on them, they will not be able to self-destruct allowing you to defeat them and have the chance to get a dropped chest.

Use Characters with Good Ether Attacks

Nebula type enemies are weak to Ether Attacks. Using characters like Melia and Seven is a great way to defeat Nebula enemies with ease.

Defeat Them with a Chain Attack

When an Aqua Nebula is low on health, you can perform a chain attack on them. If you defeat them in one chain attack, they can die without self-destructing.
