This is a guide to completing Oasis Buddies, a request in New Pokemon Snap (Pokemon Snap 2) for the Nintendo Switch. Here you can find what kind of photo you need, and how to take it, in order to clear Oasis Buddies, as well as the reward!

Sands (Day) Walkthrough: List of Pokemon and How to Unlock
Once you enter the oasis area, you can immediately start throwing Illumina orbs at Torchic and Hippowdon. Hit Torchic with the Illumina orb first, then Hippowdon. Torchic will immediately run to a spot in front of Hippowdon then start excitedly jumping up and down.
When Torchic is excitedly jumping up and down, throw another Illumina orb at it for it to jump onto Hippowdon's head. Missing this moment will fail the request and you won't be able to get Torchic back to its spot.
When Torchic is on Hippowdon's head, snap a photo of Hippowdon to complete the request!
The Character: Rita sticker is obtained after completing the Oasis Buddies request and can be used when editing photos.

Spam the Hippowdon and Torchic at the front of the pond with the orbs. The Torchic will do a little happy hop by the side of the water, and you have to hit it again before it stops. I think both have to be glowing. It he torchic should then jump on the Hippowdon’s head. The photo focus must be the hippowdon to count.
