    Got it first try on lvl 3. All I did was scan once when on top of the hill and she turned around. Then I scanned to choose the alt path, and panned back to Lyconrock who was running towards Mandibuzz. Once it flew away, she ran to the end of the cliff and did the howl. Nothing else was done.

    Try using Level 2, and avoid trying on level 3

    I highly recommend using the ar function of the switch. Wjere you move the screen to keep focus on Lycanroc. It helps

    After trying to constantly scan to no avail, I tried throwing an orb then scanning and it worked first try.

    I was having trouble too. I got it (on level 3, fwiw) by changing course as quickly as possible and then IMMEDIATELY turning, zooming in on the Lycanroc, and scanning while the focus was directly over the pokemon

    Two very important things: start scanning before you come over the rise, and make sure you are pointed in the direction of the lycanroc. I did this several times before I got it, and it's super important to not just scan any old where, you MUST be pointed at the lycanroc.

    make sure you are on level two of the sands

    For some reason, I can't get this to work. Do I need to keep using scan, or is there something else. Lycanroc always jumps down when when I am zoomed in and spamming scan
