It's a bit buggy. Sometimes the Frilish just won't come out. Weird solution: You know how either Octillery or Pyukumuku will show up randomly with Wailmer? I couldn't get it to work until Pyukumuku was the one there on level 3. Resetting until it's him, not Octillery.
Im having some trouble getting frillish to come to the entrance. Do i need to hit alomola with anything ir lure frillish with fluff fruit?

Lv 3 needed. Before u see Wailmer, u'll see two Alos passing by. Hit the first one with apple (or both to be sure). Then they switch order. Do it before they get to the right entrance below. They will split and your Alo will head to the cave with Frillish. It stops there and Frillish will appear from its back. But before that happens, hit Alo one more time with apple which causes it to slow down and Frillish will be able to grab it otherwise Alo will swim away. Target is Frillish.
Update, you have to hit one of the swimming ones wirh the fruit.
Stumped here. I found the cave in the picture, and there's three Alomomola. Two swim to the cave entrance before entering the Qwilfish lair. The other one is sleeping on the rocks as you descend and I can't wake it up.
