How to Clear To the Bottom of the Sea
Throw Fluffruit at Alomomola
On the main route, you'll encounter 2 Alomomola swimming under the Wailmer. Hit the Alomomola in the lead with a fluffruit. If you hit the Alomomola trailing behind with a fluffruit, it will not affect the request. Note that they alternate places after going around the Wailmer, so in that case, you'll want to hit the one behind.
Throw Fluffruit at Wailmer for More Room
If you're having difficulty hitting the Alomomola with a fluffruit because the Wailmer either gets in your way or halts the NEO-ONE, you can throw a fluffruit at Wailmer beforehand so that it swims away. It would be optimal if you threw a fluffruit at Wailmer as soon as it appears on your screen.
Follow Alomomola to the Frillish
You have to hit the Alomomola with a fluffruit before it crosses the cave entrance depicted in the picture. If you succeed, it will stop at the cave entrance, where it will be met by a Frillish with Illumina glow. Throw another fluffruit at Alomomola right before the Frillish grabs it. Failing to do so, will cause the Alomomola to just swim away.
Photo Frillish!
If you succesfully hit the Alomomola with a fluffruit at that moment, the Frillish will grab it and the two Pokemon will descend to the depths. The target Pokemon to photograph is Frillish, not Alomomola. Snap a photo of Frillish and complete the request!

Anonymous over 4 yearsIm having some trouble getting frillish to come to the entrance. Do i need to hit alomola with anything ir lure frillish with fluff fruit?

It's a bit buggy. Sometimes the Frilish just won't come out. Weird solution: You know how either Octillery or Pyukumuku will show up randomly with Wailmer? I couldn't get it to work until Pyukumuku was the one there on level 3. Resetting until it's him, not Octillery.
