How to Get All Stars for Luxray

How to Take Luxray 1 Star Photo

Luxray Walking

Near the beginning of the Volcano course at Research Level 3, you can spot a Luxray to the left of the path right before going down the slope. Take a photo of the Luxray while it is patrolling the area to get a 1 Star photo.

How to Take Luxray 2 Star Photo

Eating a Fluffruit

You can take a 2 Star photo of Luxray by feeding it Fluffruit. Near the start of the Volcano course at Research Level 3, you can spot a Luxray to the left of the path before going down the slope. Toss a Fluffruit near the Luxray and take a photo of the Pokemon eating the fruit.

How to Take Luxray 3 Star Photo

Right before the enter the cave section of the Volcano course at Research Level 3, a Luxray will run past you and enter the cave. Quickly toss an Illumina Orb at the Luxray while it is running. It may take some practice to get the timing right for this step.

After you toss the Illumina Orb, continue through the main route of the cave. Before entering the magma chamber, you can spot Luxray sleeping next to Shinx on a ledge to your right. Take a photo of the two sleeping Pokemon, making sure the focus of your shot is on Luxray.

To take a 4 Star photo of Luxray, you need to follow the steps to completing the Luxray Vision request and take a photo of the Luxray while its eyes are glowing yellow.
