How to Get All Stars for Altaria

How to Take Altaria 1 Star Photo

Altaria Walking

Immediately after starting the Volcano course, press the Down D-Pad to turn around. Behind you, you can see an Altaria walking to the water. Take a photo of the Altaria while it is walking to get a 1 Star photo.

How to Take Altaria 2 Star Photo

Flapping in the Water

You can take a 2 Star photo of Altaria in the same spot as its 1 Star photo. Press the Down D-Pad to turn around immediately after starting the course. Wait for the Altaria behind you to get into the water and play the Melody to make the Pokemon flap around.

How to Take Altaria 3 Star Photo

Singing in the Water

At the start of the Volcano course at Research Level 2 or higher, look to your left to see the three Altaria sleeping in the hot springs. Toss one Fluffruit at one of the Altaria to wake it up and play the Melody to make it sing. Take a photo of the singing Altaria.

How to Take Altaria 4 Star Photo

Playing in the Steam

To take a 4 Star photo of Altaria, follow the steps in the table below in the Volcano course at Research Level 3.

1	At the start of the course, you can find a flock of Altaria swimming on the far side of the hot spring. Toss a Fluffruit at one of the Altaria to make the entire flock fly away.
2	Toss a Fluffruit into the pool to the right of the flock of Altaria to make steam come out. Make sure to do this before or while the Altaria are flying over the pool.
3	After releasing the steam, the flock of Altaria will start happily circling the steam cloud. Take a photo of one of the Altaria to get a 4 Star photograph.
