For a 1 Star photo of Finneon, go to Undersea research-level 3. After turning right in the first area of the course, look to the tall seagrasses on the right side. In the third seagrass, you'll find Finneon hiding in between. Throw an Illumina Orb at Finneon and take a close-up shot to achieve 1 Star Diamond.

For a 3 Star photo of Finneon, go to Reef (Day) research-level 3. At the beginning of the course, you'll find a bunch of Finneon from afar. Throw a Fluffruit at them and they will start to swim away.

Use Neo-One's turbo mode to get closer to the fish that is left. Then, zoom in on your camera and wait for Wingull to fetch Finneon from the sea. Take a close-up shot of Finneon while it is on Wingull's mouth to achieve 3 Star Diamond.
