Near the start of Sands (Night) at Research Level 2, you can spot a Kangaskhan sitting on top of a sand mound with its back turned. Toss a Fluffruit at the Kangaskhan to make it stand up and turn around. After turning around, the Kangaskhan will first roar at you before calming down. Take a photo of the calm Kangaskhan to get a 1 Star photo.

You can take a 2 Star photo of Kangaskhan near the start of Sands (Night). Hit the Kangaskhan on top of the sand mound with a Fluffruit to make it turn around and roar at you. After it roars, it will pick up the Fluffruit you just tossed and eat it. Take a photo of the eating Kangaskhan.
