On the first part of the Beach (Day) with research-level 3, you'll find Wingull flying around the area. Focus on the palm tree where Crabwralers are fighting and wait for Wingull to cross under the tree. Make sure to take a close-up shot to achieve 1 Star Diamond.

You can take a photo of a squawking Wingull by tossing an Illumina Orb at a Wingull perched on a rock. Though you can find several perched Wingull in Reef (Day), it is best to do this with the Wingull near the whirlpool since it is the closest to the player.

To take a 3 Star photo of Wingull, you need to capture a photograph of the Pokemon while it is doing a loop-the-loop in the air. The best spot to do this is at the start of Beach (Day) where you can spot a Wingull near the shore. Play the Melody to make the Wingull do a loop-the-loop and take a photo before it flies overhead. It is recommended to use Burst Mode when taking this photo.

Near the start of Reef (Day) at Research Level 2 or higher, you can spot a school of Finneon swimming in the waters close to the shore. Once you are close enough to the Finneon, toss a Fluffruit at the school to make one of them jump in the air. After landing back in the water, the rest of the Finneon will scatter and a Wingull will dive in the water to catch the Finneon. Take a photo of the Wingull as it dives in to get a 4 Star photo.

4 star wingull. Drop fluffruit near finneon at start of Maricopa Reef. I did this at Level 1 (Not sure if level matters). Only one of the finneon will jump ( you need to find the right one). Once it jumps the wingull will swoop down and catch it, snap a shot!
