To take a 1 Star photo of Cutiefly, start the course on the entrance side of the Research Camp. As you get closer to the entrance of the Research Lab, look to the grass near it to find Cutiefly. Take a close-up shot of Cutiefly flying around the area to achieve 1 Star Diamond.

Taking a 2 Star photo of Cutiefly is similar to 1 Star. All you need to do is feed Cutiefly with a Fluffruit. Throw a Flufftuit near Cutiefly and make sure to have an angle where it is facing you. Take a close-up shot of Cutiefly after eating a Fluffruit to achieve 2 Star Diamond.

To take a 3 Star photo of Cutiefly, repeat the steps in getting 2 Star phtoto. After Cutiefly eats the Fluffruit, focus your camera on Cutiefly and wait till it gets closer to Audino. Once closer, Cutiefly will start swirling around in the air. Take a close-up shot of Cutiefly swirling in the air to achieve 3 Star Diamond.

To take a 4 Star photo of Cutiefly, start the course on the Research Lab side. After passing through the lamp post near a Crystabloom, look to the garden on the right side and scan the area.
You'll find a bunch of Cutiefly flying around, throw an Illumina Orb to the closest one to you. Then, play a Melody to make it dance and make a cute pose. Take a close-up shot of it making a cute pose to achieve 4 Star Diamond.
