You can take a 1 Star photo of Lycanroc by capturing a photograph of the Pokemon while it is walking around. Several Lycanroc can be found around oasis in Sands (Night). Take a close-up photo of one of the Lycanroc to get the most points from your photo.

After going over the large sand mound in Research Level 1 of Sands (Night), you can find two Lycanroc roaming around the area before reaching the oasis. After a while, the two Lycanroc will spot each other and engage in a staredown. One Lycanroc will eventually use Leer to scare the other Lycanroc away. Take a photo of the Lycanroc while it s using Leer to get a 2 Star photo.

In Sands (Day), take the alternate route through the right side of the oasis. At the entrance of the alternate route, a Lycanroc will drop from a higher rock onto the ground. Lure that Lycanroc with fluffruit to the nearby Tyranitar. The 2 Pokemon will then try to intimidate one another. Snap a photo of Lycanroc growling at Tyranitar to achieve the 3 Star photo!

After going over the sand dune in Research Level 2 of Sands (Night), you can find a Lycanroc walking around near the oasis. Toss two Fluffruit at the Lycanroc and wait for it to eat both fruit. After eating two Fluffruit, the Lycanroc will start howling. Take a photo of the howling Lycanroc to get a 4 Star photo.

To get the 4 star, we had to do the night time and feed on of the midnight forms lycanroc an apple! It howled after and it was 4 star
