Relic Recon is an event where you complete missions to open chests containing Relics and Planar Ornaments!
How to Play Relic Recon
Relic Recon Gameplay
- Step 1: Select a Target Character and Relic Set
- Step 2: Gain Access Cards
- Step 3: Open Chests
- Step 4: Keep the Relics
Select a Target Character and Relic Set
During the event, you will need to select a target character and then you can select your desired relic sets to unbox.
The game will automatically choose the default relic sets based on the playerbase's commonly used sets for that character but you will also have the option to choose your own relic sets.
Relics and Planar Ornaments Guide
Gain Access Cards
Complete missions by playing through certain 3.7 content to gain Access Cards, which can be used to open chests.
Open Chests
Opening a chest will grant you a +15 5-star piece from the relic set you've selected! This relic can be equipped and will be temporarily stored in your inventory. Temporarily stored relics have a special green lock icon and its stats cannot be rerolled.
You can only temporarily store one relic piece per slot. This means you can only obtain one full 6-piece relic set (Head, Hands, Body, Feet, Planar Sphere, and Link Rope) and no more than that through this event.
Replace Previous Relics
When you obtain a duplicate relic piece, you can choose which one to keep depending on the substats you prefer. Continue opening chests to get better relics and complete a full set that's closest to what you need!
Trigger Guarantee Boxes
Every 8th box opened will be a Guarantee Box. A Guarantee Box will contain a relic piece with the recommended main stat for your target character as well as at least 2 or more recommended sub stat.
However, the recommended stats will be influenced by the system's recommendation for your target character and cannot be changed.
You can check which stats are prioritized by clicking on the magnifying glass icon beside the Effective Subsidiary Stats Count on the event menu.
Keep the Relics
When the event ends, your temporarily stored relics will become permanent relics! This will allow you to reroll their substats using Variable Dice.

i think so! i took phainon as my first target, and got some decent stuff. switcht to topaz and the relics (the set for phainon) were the same, and would get replaced with the set for topaz, when rolling for her. so i would advice to NOT change midway through the event.
