Bartholos's Troubles Walkthrough
How to Complete Bartholos's Troubles
- Step 1: Go to the Teary Court Ruins in F1
- Step 2: Block the Drains with Bubble Shots
- Step 3: Devour the Chimeras on the Statue
- Step 4: Help the Baby Seal Clear Out Enemies
- Step 5: Bring the Chimeras to a Safe Location
Go to the Teary Court Ruins in F1
Teleport to the Teary Court Ruins Space Anchor in F1 North of Radiant Scarwood Grove of Epiphany. Bartholos will be watching over a pair of chimeras in the area.
Once you approach them, Bartholos will ask if you want to hear about their heroic deeds. Ask them to tell you all about it to start the mission!

Block the Drains with Bubble Shots

Found on the wall of the upper floor, just across the Bartholos's POV portal. Blocking this drain removes the water from the long staircase. |
 Second Drain |
Follow the stairs down to the lower floor and turn right at the end. You should find the last drain up ahead by going through the archway filled with enemies. |
Engage with the Bartholos's POV portal to take control of Bartholos. You'll have to locate the two drains that are flooding the area and block them off by shooting bubbles at them.
If you run out of power to shoot bubbles, you can either wait for it to regenerate or destroy shields in the area that have bubbles.
Devour the Chimeras on the Statue
Return to the giant statue in the middle of the Teary Court Ruins to pick up the trapped chimeras. They'll be waiting around the top of the statue.
Help the Baby Seal Clear Out Enemies
After picking up the chimeras, fly back down to the lower floor and go through the archway that's partially blocked by a pile of wooden crates. You should find a baby seal on top of a small box.
The baby seal will ask you to clear out the enemies in the passage you went through to block the second drain. Just shoot the Ichor Vessel hanging from the ceiling above to release the ichor orb and knock them all out.
Bring the Chimeras to a Safe Location
Fly back up to the upper floor and spit out the chimeras onto the large block of debris. This is the same spot where you first encountered Bartholos at the start of the mission. After this, the quest is wrapped up and you'll receive a small reward!

Access More Radiant Scarwood Chests
Blocking the drains during the Bartholos's Troubles mission will remove all of the water that's flooding the Teary Court Ruins. This will allow you to access more chests in Radiant Scarwood Grove of Epiphany!
