| Rewards | |
Fate/stay night is an event where you will participate in a series of 1v1 matches to earn points and to be the final victor of the Holy Grail War.

The Fate/stay night event is part of Honkai: Star Rail's Fate Collaboration. Players are recommended to finish the Fate/Night in Dreamland Trailblaze Continuance mission, which is part of the Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail collaboration mission series, to have a better event experience.
Fate/Night in Dreamland Mission Guide
Since Fate/stay night can still stand on its own, you can also unlock the event without clearing the recommended missions through the Finality's Vision function.
| Class Type | Recommendation |
|---|---|
Archer |
• Synergizes well with characters who frequently take actions or use Skills, such as Hunt characters. • Boosts skill damage while providing ways to get skill points. • Recommended to at least get 3 pieces to get more Noble Phantasm/Mystic Code in early rounds. You can sell them later on for other types of Pieces. |
Saber |
• Great with characters who focus on Ultimate damage. • Provides energy restoration and damage boost to Ultimates. |
Lancer |
• Synergizes well with characters who deals DoT or casts debuffs, such as most Nihility characters. • Gae Bolg damage scales with the number of debuffs, providing a way to deal with Boss and Elite enemies. • Might struggle in the later Corruption levels where a lot more DoT procs will be required to kill an Elite. |
Berserker |
• Synergizes well with characters who wants to lose HP, such as most Destruction characters. • Berserker Pieces provides characters ways to lose HP while boosting their damage and survivability. |
Assassin |
• Synergizes well with Break damage focused characters. • Assassin Pieces provides different boosts to Break Effect damage as well as increasing Weakness Break Efficiency. |
Rider |
• Great with characters who can easily clear waves such as Erudition characters. • Rider Bond effect is very useful in the earlier Corruption levels. • Might struggle to fully utilize Piece effects in later Corruption levels where even the normal enemies have high HP. |
Caster |
• Individual Pieces provide good stat boosts even without the Bond effect, making them great filler Pieces. • Caster Bond is not recommended to focus on due to the difficulty of gathering all three Caster Pieces. |
| Archer Premium | |
|---|---|
| Archer F2P |
Archer is a DPS whose skill damage oriented kit simply synergizes well with the Pieces' effects.
With the Rin's Pendant Mystic Code providing extra Eidolons for Archer and the Caladbolg II: Fake Spiral Sword Noble Phantasm allowing Archer to use his skill once for free, Archer is a great DPS option for this class.
Skill Point friendly supports who can provide Archer extra SP or are SP-neutral are generally preferred. Archer's premium supports are Sparkle and Cipher, while F2P options would be Remembrance Trailblazer and Hanya.
| Anaxa Premium | |
|---|---|
| Anaxa F2P |
Anaxa is another DPS that can take advantage of the Archer Pieces due to his skill damage oriented kit.
His preferred supports are Sunday and Robin since both can advance Anaxa's turn while also boosting his damage. Huohuo is the ideal healer for this team due to her team-wide energy restoration.
Alternative supports for him include the Remembrance Trailblazer, Asta, and Pela since the first two can let Anaxa take more turns by advancing his turn or increasing his SPD and Pela's debuff can decrease the enemies' DEF.
Lynx is a great 4-star alternative healer though Gallagher can also be used if you want to be more SP positive. High corruption levels do hit harder though so consistent healing like Lynx might be better in that case.
| Saber Premium | |
|---|---|
| Saber F2P |
Saber is a DPS whose Ultimate damage focused kit synergizes well with the Pieces' effects. Obtaining the Avalon: Ever the Distant Utopia Noble Phantasm makes Saber playable as a trial character, allowing players to enjoy her as a F2P option.
Avalon also increases her Eidolon levels, further boosting her firepower. The Caliburn Noble Phantasm lets her use her Ultimate for free whenever the Summon takes action, which is great extra damage.
Her ideal supports are those who can provide her energy. Her premium support options are Sunday, Robin, and Huohuo while the F2P options are Remembrance Trailblazer and Tingyun.
| DoT Premium | |
|---|---|
| DoT F2P |
With the Lancer Pieces being DoT oriented, the best DPS units that benefit from this are Kafka and Black Swan. Both can be used in the same team especially since Kafka has multiple ways to trigger all the DoT debuffs that are currently on the target.
Sampo, Guinaifen, and Luka are good 4-star DPS alternatives if you are missing one of the mentioned characters above. Though there may be a notable difference in DPS if Kafka is missing due to her being the only unit that can trigger all DoT debuffs.
Their ideal supports are those who can let them take more turns while boosting their ATK. Both Ruan Mei and Robin are great options for this. Huohuo is the preferred healer due to her team-wide energy restoration.
If you are missing the mentioned supports, Asta and Pela can be great 4-star alternatives. Asta is great due to her talent and ultimate providing ATK and SPD respectively and Pela for her DEF reduction debuff. Gallagher is a good healer that is generally SP positive due to the turn advance on his Ultimate.
| Castorice Premium | |
|---|---|
| Castorice F2P |
Berserker Pieces allows Castorice to build up her Ultimate quickly due to them either consuming HP or allowing enemies to act first. The Pieces themselves also grant DMG boost, which we also want.
Remembrance Trailblazer is a great support for Castorice due to their CRIT DMG and True DMG buffs also applying to Netherwing's attacks. Tribbie also provides great team-wide DMG boost while also benefiting from Castorice's high HP.
If you are missing Tribbie, Sunday can be used instead for his CRIT buffs despite his energy restoration being wasted while Pela is a good 4-star support alternative due to her debuffs.
Hyacine is simply the best healer for this team due to her being able to increase everyone's max HP. Lynx is a great alternative due to her being able to increase Castorice's Max HP with her skill.
| Firefly Premium | |
|---|---|
| Firefly F2P |
Assassin Pieces amplify Break damage, making it go extremely well with Break damage focused units like Firefly.
Her preferred supports are Fugue and Ruan Mei, who can boost Break damage and weakness break efficiency. Lingsha is the preferred sustain for this team due to her Befog debuff increasing the Break damage enemies receive.
Good 4-star support alternatives are Harmony Trailblazer, Asta, and Pela. Harmony Trailblazer can increase Super Break DMG while Asta can increase the team's ATK and SPD. Pela can decrease the enemies' DEF, which increases Super Break DMG.
Gallagher can be used instead of Lingsha due to his Besotted debuff, which increases the Break DMG enemies receive. His healing also scales on Break Effect, which can be increased by the other Break support units in the team.

To participate in the Holy Grail War, you will need to assemble a team to use in a series of 1v1 matches. Win those matches to earn rewards and unlock more levels!
Your opponents and their enemy teams are randomized with each run, so you may need to make adjustments to your team based on who you're up against.

Pieces can be purchased using tokens you get in between matches. They have different effects that benefit specific classes. If you have duplicate Pieces, you can merge them to upgrade the effects of that Piece.
Collecting multiple Pieces of the same class can also activate Bond effects that can immensely boost your team's damage output!
Take note that you can also sell your Pieces to earn back coins if ever you need to change up your strategy. Selling upgraded Pieces will refund the full amount you spent on duplicates to raise its EXP!

During the tournament, you can also obtain Noble Phantasms. More chances to select a Noble Phantasm can appear if you have the Archer Bond activated or if you're challenging higher Corruption Levels.
Noble Phantasms are similar to Curios in the Simulated Universe and can grant powerful upgrades to either your team in general, certain classes, or characters. Some can even summon Archer or Saber to deal extra instances of damage or allow you to use them in your team!

Along with Pieces and Noble Phantasms, you can also get various Command Spells. These provide additional buffs to help your team in battle or even help you acquire better Pieces more suited towards your team's playstyle.

im not downloading a whole language pack for one quest that's already silent half the time cause the "silent horror film" thing. I don't have space for it, nor do I care enough about 3 collab characters being voiced from an anime I haven't watched. I care more about the characters that where voiced in English then the ones that won't be showing up ever again. Now ill just have two silent units when fighting.
