Castorice, Luocha, and Tribbie are the trial characters for Day 2.
With Castorice being one of the Trial characters and the stage mechanic encouraging HP loss, we recommend using a double DPS team with Mydei for Day 2 of Morning Starlight. The ideal team will be Castorice, Mydei, Tribbie, and Luocha.

If you don't want to use the free Castorice trial character or Mydei, Blade is the only other DPS unit who can drain their HP as soon as possible and be SP neutral at the same time.
For support characters, running Remembrance Trailblazer is recommended due to its SP positive gameplay and their ability to advance forward another character through Mem.
If you don't want to use the free Luocha trial character, Gallagher is the next ideal healer due to his Besotted debuff capable of healing allies without using SP.

Remembrance Trailblazer in this F2P team comp will help advance forward Castorice through Mem. Remembrance Trailblazer's gameplay of spamming basic ATKs after summoning Mem helps generate SP for the team.
With Remembrance Trailblazer and Tribbie generating SP, Luocha can afford to use his skill on Castorice to trigger the stage mechanic and advance forward her, allowing her to get multiple turns within a cycle.
How to Beat Day 2 Supergiant Star
Heal As Much As Possible
Using Luocha's skill on Castorice whenever possible is the recommended strategy due to the stage mechanic. When Castorice is advance forwarded, the player can spam her skill since it does not need SP and it also consumes the team's HP, which is what we want to do.
This also allows Luocha to deploy his Zone as soon as possible, which is the source of his team-wide healing. Once the Zone is deployed, Tribbie's blast and follow up attacks can also heal the team then.

| When ally characters receive fatal damage, they are not knocked down. Instead, their action advances by 100% and they are restored to Max HP. In addition, the DMG this unit and their summon deal increases by 200%, up to 2 stacks. When ally characters restore HP, the amount of HP restored is converted to a HP reduction instead. |

Circle of Life and Death is the Day 2 stage of the Morning Starlight combat event. The Day 2 stage effects involve turn advancing characters who receive fatal damage and heals being converted to HP loss.
