How to Complete Passage, Reveal the Past Once More
- Step 1: Advance Towards the Archive of Prophecies

Advance Towards the Archive of Prophecies
After the dialogue, you'll be transported to the Sanctum of Prophecy. Go up the stairs and head to the left, where you'll see a Janus Passage. Use it to get to the other side. Enter the room and you'll encounter an orb mechanism for the puzzle.
Complete the First Janus Maze
You'll have to solve the Janus Maze puzzle to proceed. Roll the ball towards the end of the maze to get it free. Time the turning of the box to make sure the ball doesn't fall backward.
Complete the Second Janus Maze
After solving the first one, you must do another Janus Maze puzzle. This time, there will be moving walls and you can use these to propel the ball into the desired direction. Time the turning of the box to make use of the moving walls and get the ball free.
Enter Tribios' Abode
After solving both mazes, the secret stairwell will open. Head down the stairwell to where Tribios used to live. Go down the stairs and approach a pile of wooden boxes.
Walk Around With Trinnon
Approach the wooden boxes and interact with them to proceed. After the dialogue, approach the bed and see a phantom of Tribios. Finish the dialogue and walk around again to find Tribios.
Look for Tribios
Go to the mission marker just beside the wooden boxes from earlier to proceed. Finish the conversation and go through the secret passage shown to you by Tribios. Keep walking forward and then use the elevator to go up.
Follow Tribios Forward
It will bring you to another room with a giant scale, just like in Abyss of Fate. Approach the book and it will trigger more dialogue. Finish the dialogue and you'll be prompted to find a way to help Tribios get out of the room.
Use the Book to Shift the Time
First, use the book to shift the time. This gets rid of the wooden crates in Tribios' way. After that, go to the right and climb the stairs. You'll see a Miracle Orb on a small platform.
Use the Miracle Orb to Make a Path
Use the Miracle Orb and make a path for Tribios. This allows the phantom to get up the stairs. Follow where Tribios went and go up the stairs.
Use the Book to Help Tribios Cross
You'll see another book once you're up the stairs. Approach it and shift the time to help Tribios cross the gap. Next, exit the room by going through the door. Follow the mission marker towards the next area.
Watch Tribios' Past Conversations
Once you're out of the room, go ahead and follow Tribios. You'll come across some kids and it will trigger a dialogue. Finish it and keep following her to the end of the path while she interacts with other people.
Follow Tribios and Head to the Janus Vault
At the end of the bridge, go left and follow Tribios to the Janus Vault. Here, you'll have to use the book to shift the time and remove the black tide. In Evernight, reform the bridge and cross to continue forward.
Use the Book Again to Remove Wooden Crates
On the other side, you'll be blocked by wooden crates again. Use the book nearby to shift the time back to Day and remove the crates, then approach Tribios to continue towards the Janus Vault.
Face the Holy City Guards
Inside the vault, you'll enter more dialogue with Tribios. Finish it and head back out. You'll see guards blocking your way, so take them out in a battle. Once it's done, keep moving forward.
Open the Way Together With Tribios
Follow Tribios towards the outside of the vault while avoiding guards or taking them out. Follow Tribios and the mission marker until you move out of Janusopolis. However, guarding the exit is a monster, so take it out.
Defeat the Pursuers With Tribios
Take out the Noontide Gryphon and the other monsters to proceed. Once the battle is finished, more dialogue and cutscenes will trigger. Finish them all and this mission will be over!
