How to Get The Cat in the Hat Achievement

The Cat in the Hat Achievement Guide

• Step 1: Progress through the Critter Pick Event
• Step 2: Look For Bossy Coconut Angelcake
• Step 3: Rescue Pure Sugar Child

Progress through the Critter Pick Event

First, you will need to start the Critter Pick: Nurture mission and advance through the event so that the creations show up on the Seclusion Zone map.

Look For Bossy Coconut Angelcake

You can find the creation stuck in the “walled city” by heading up the stairs past the chamber that was locked during the When the Stars of Ingenuity Shine mission.

You'll find a critter on a pillow after destroying the containers to the right of the Herta puppet. After talking to it, you'll get the Bossy Coconut Angelcake critter!

Rescue Pure Sugar Child

The creation that's been swallowed by a monster can be found in the long corridor near the Pharmaceutical Room Space Anchor. You'll need to defeat some enemies in battle to rescue Pure Sugar Child.

Getting Pure Sugar Child is also required for The Tame-A-Gotcha Is Hungry Again achievement. Check out more details on how to get it in our guide linked below!

The Cat in the Hat Achievement Rewards

Get Two New Creations

Throughout this hidden quest, you will receive two new creations. The Bossy Coconut Angelcake is a special variant that has two mutation traits, while Pure Sugar Child is a rare creation.

Any creation traits they have that you haven't unlocked yet will be registered in your index and grant you additional Research Points. Use these critters to try out new combinations with the Lifeform Oven!

Apart from the achievement itself, you'll also get some Lost Gold Fragments, Hertareum, and Credits after helping Ruan Mei's creations get back home!
