Nah bruh mark my words, people said the same for Acheron and she's starting to drop, she will get a powerspike on Ting and then fall really hard against Herta and new Destruction DPS, call me im wrong in the next 3.2 patches, she will be top still on Ting tho, after that it is all the way down Acheron already falling too.
Dunno, man. Looks like she's the golden child of this game. They'll probably avoid to make this particular character fall. Look at the endgame, constantly those trio robot stuffs.
We're very close to 3.0, trust me back then in 1.0 people thought Seele was going to be the best DPS in the game for a very long time with her resets or how she was this crazy on single target damage, but then DHIL happened and people thought it was a fluke and that he was good but no problems, then Jingliu happened and it was like "come on no way we get ANOTHER dps with so much damage and convenience?" And then Acheron happened and now there's Feixiao, this is a continous trend.
I doubt you can say the same thing when the new planet drops in. People said the same thing about Jingliu back then and look where she is now. I doubt mihoyo will continue to coddle her when the new planet comes in since that means losing free money
Her play style literally is rules are meant to be broken lol. Doesn't matter what weakness type enemies have, just nope f*ck that. I like her as a character and her backstory, but being able to break anything 95% of the time is just OP. I'm more accepting of other characters that can break anything only with their ultimates since they got gotta charge it up but Firefly, idk man.
Oh well, at least new meta characters are a concern to players who absolutely must max out stars on the final stages of MoC, PF, and AS. For somebody like me who isn't going to throw a tantrum from missing a star and is still using characters from 1.0, powercreep doesn't affect me much. I can still max clear final stages but it's noticeably been getting more difficult without using characters like Firefly and Acheron.
It is pretty easy, new DPS do more damage, also Firefly as much as I believe she's insane has the problem of having to break an enemy. If they start adding enemies with higher toughness bars or guess what maybe an enemy that has no bar then she will drop dead. The trend you're seeing is powercreep in general, newer units are better, able to have better damage outputs and ceilings, better designed with less caveats, just compare Jingliu and DHIL to Feixiao or Acheron or Firefly.
I honestly don't see how she'll get power crept unless Hoyo starts adding stuff like special team sync combos or something. The fact that she can break any enemy regardless of element is OP. I hate how this trend is going. First Acheron and now it's Boothill, Firefly, and Feixiao? Like so much for following elemental rules, Hoyo. I guess we should've known this would happen once they made Xueyi's ultimate ignore element weakness.
she will get powercreep eventually, maybe in 3.0 onwards. since there's an incoming fate collab, and rumors about 5 star herta being playable, I wouldn't be shocked if they powercreep Acheron, Feixiao, Firefly, and every other DPS from 2.x and 1.x
It will eventually happen, just look at Jingliu and DHIL mains, next ones are Acheron, then Firefly but still there's new super breaker that may increase her longevity at the highest tier a bit longer, while Jiaoqiu was really good for Acheron Feixiao just destroys her.

are you just... stupid? firefly hits so much harder then boothill and in a 3 enemy range
so wrong, her best team gives her 300k per enhanced skill, and she takes multiple turns wheras acting like that in a boothill team takes out a much needed ruan mei which decreases dps for both characters
Everyone will pull a Jingliu the creep is beyond insane on this game, it is just a matter of time, Seele, Monoquantum, DHIL, Jingliu, DOT teams with Black Swan already crept.

Basically JL 2.0, got favored so much during release that she fell off hard after 1.x. They're favoring her right now because it's break meta but if it's true that 3.x is summon meta then she'll probably pull a Jingliu
I wonder what will happen if MC got a new path in the future. Unless Hoyoverse releases a new Superbreak unit, she'll fall pretty darn low. Gonna be a huge dilemma for FF havers (if they wanted to play with the new path),
