Find the Guardian Shadow in Everwinter Hill

Map Location	World View

The Guardian Shadow will be found at the top of Everwinter Hill (where you fought Cocolia). To get to this location quickly, simply teleport to the Deck of Creation space anchor near the End of the Eternal Freeze Echo of War.

Complete the Jarilo-VI Main Story to Unlock this Quest

If you can't find the Guardian Shadow on your map, you will need to check your main story progress. Vessel of Mediocrity Part 3 should become available once you have reached at least Trailblaze Level 24 and have completed the Jarilo-VI main story.

How to Help the Guardian Shadow

	Quest Walkthrough
1	Find the Guardian Shadow in the Everwinter Hill. She can be found near the Deck of Creation space anchor.
2	You will discover that the Guardian Shadow is Cyrille after interacting with it. Cyrille will ask you to help her solve The Fool's Box puzzle again.
3	Push the boxes as shown above to rescue the first child.
4	Follow the steps above to rescue the second child.
5	Push the boxes as shown above to rescue the remaining 2 children. Note: Completing all the Fool's Box puzzles in the Vessel of Mediocrity questline will grant the achievement The Banality of Evil, which gives you 5 Stellar Jade.
6	After solving the puzzle, talk to Cyrille. She will ask you to bless her with everlasting peace. A battle will commence after the conversation. Defeat Cyrille (Guardian Shadow) and her two Everwinter Shadewalker guards.
7	Cyrille will vanish after the battle, leaving only her golden ornament on the ground. Pick up her ornament to learn more about her past.
8	Look for Manya in the Administrative District to learn more about Cyrille the Supreme Guardian of Belobog. She can be found right next to Serval's Neverwinter Workshop.
9	Talk to Manya to complete and finish the Vessel of Mediocrity questline.

Talk to Manya to Learn About Cyrille's Fate

Giving Cyrille's ornament to Manya will have her reveal the truth behind the eighth Supreme Guardian of Belobog. Players will receive the final readable of the 3-part Cyrille document, which details the life and death of Cyrille the unfortunate.

Unlock Extra Dialogue for Cyrille's Portrait

Complete the event quest, Everwinter City Museum Ledger of Curiosities, and investigate the portrait of Cyrille Rand in the History and Culture Hall section of the museum.

Once done, Talk to Uldan and submit the Cyrille: An Old Diary and Cyrille: An Old Letter. Afterward, the portrait of Cyrille Rand should have an extra dialogue on her exhibit label.

Cyrille the Fool Readable Item Reward

Cyrille the Fool is also part of the rewards for the quest. This is the final part in the 3-Part Cyrille readable item you can collect by completing all 3 parts of this quest chain.

This new readable reward details the life of Cyrille - the eighth Supreme Guardian of Belobog. It is a tale of tragedy where Stefan is revealed to have orchestrated Cyrille's rise to install her as a puppet for his corrupt government. Later, he also causes her death.
