Just saying that Screwllum has been getting a lot of leaks already and it’s not like they haven’t released characters with no relevance to what’s going on in the main story before.

You might be right but right now I think Screwllum will be coming in 2.3 along with boothill. Sure Screwllum isn’t involved in the main story but it could be like Argenti and huo huo with the latter having a main story and the former a companion mission.

Chiori is getting released before clorinde and arleccino who were much more involved in the story which again shows that doesn’t matter how involved a character is if hoyo wants them to wait they’ll wait. And so far it looks like Sunday is going to have to wait. No kit leak while the rest already have leaked light cones and Screwllum has slash concept art and animations.

Baizhu wasn’t released till 3.x patch and he was a member of the liyue patch since it released. We also know nothing of sundays kit or of his confirmed element which leads me to think Boothill and Screwllum will be in 2.3 instead.
