This is a guide to Challenge Ratings in Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance. To learn about Challenge Rating and which Challenge Rating you should begin on when starting out your journey, read on!
List of Contents
Challenge Ratings allow the players to choose the difficulty of each level in the game. The higher the Challenge Rating is, the better the rewards, but your enemies will also become harder to fight.
You will have a Combat Party Score that will let you know which difficulty is best for you under the Recommended Combat Score. This will differ for each level.
There are currently 6 Challenge Ratings to choose from in the game with every rating presenting diffirent challenges, allowing you to take on these levels with different experiences.
You can return to an already completed level with higher stats and better gear and try to finish it on the hardest difficulty.
If you're new to the game, It's best to start with the lowest Challenge Rating to familiarize yourself more with the game then slowly raise it up as you go through each Act if you feel like you're ready for a challenge.
Keep in mind that there may be difficulty spikes throughout each level. It may be fine initially but some combat areas might be more challenging than the rest of the level, so be cautious when picking a Challenge Rating that's a lot higher than your Combat Party Score.
Choose the Challenge Rating fit for your Combat Power to maximize the loot you gain from clearing levels. You may also invite your friends over to increase your overall Combat Power which will allow you to clear the level with ease.
